Camp-Inn Teardrop Camper at Cape San Blas
Glamping camping in Florida State Parks is a new adventure. I've never camped so there is no way at age 70 I'm going to start camping. However, a friend bought a cute little Camp-Inn teardrop -- a queen-size bed, air conditioning (a must in Florida), and a lovely outside galley for cooking.

The first test run for me was Cape San Blas on the Florida gulf -- beautiful Sable palms, warm white sandy beaches, gentle lapping waves. What a treat!  After enjoying a beautiful sunrise, we cooked a gourmet breakfast in the galley, then went hiking the wild trails of the "real Florida". Back at the campground, we had a relaxing shady afternoon under the canopy and then off to watch the sunset across the gulf. I'm hooked!

Next stop, Falling Waters State Park and then Anastasia State Park near St. Augustine. Anastasia offers up beautiful trails, beaches along the Atlantic, and is so close to St. Augustine it's easy to have a night on the town.

My Travel | Florida Collection showcases photos from these beautiful Florida State Parks as well as other scenic areas in Florida. If you can't escape right now, at least you can dream! Find your dream poster here in my Zazzle Travel | Florida Collection.
