Insect Safari is my first Spoonflower Challenge design for the new year. It was inspired by the section Insect Safari in the chapter "In Your Corner of the World" from The Complete Idiot's Guide to Backyard Adventures. The book was published in 2008 but is no longer in print. However, there are still a few on Amazon and the secondary book market.
I'm so please with the way this design turned out. It will be available as fabric and wallpaper. I'm working on several coordinates. I'm also thinking about using some of the other Backyard Adventures as inspiration for additional designs. Hope you enjoy it as much I enjoyed creating the design.
