| The Yellow Bowl -- stitched handmade paper |
From penny rugs to baby shoes, the blanket stitch provided a new means of construction. My latest use is constructing hand-stitched and laced little boxes and irregular bowls. Both are layers of handmade paper and sometimes fabrics, stitched and laced together. Often, I embellish with beads, buttons, ribbons, and/or decorative threads.
