Nancy Worrell designs
began in the early 1990s when I began designing for the DIY industry. My first
website was created in 1996 to promote my first book - Paper Plus (a how-to for
handmade paper). When I started the website, it was innovative and worked
well as a portfolio to advertise my book, promote my design work to vendors,
and pick up newsletter followers who were interested in the work I was doing
for publications.
Around 2003, life got in
the way –
I ended up with a
full-time job and no time for my design work. So really no need for a website
or blog but I kept it anyway. Fast forward – to retirement in 2016. Once again,
I’m exploring art and design possibilities which are now created for the POD
(print-on-demand) market. Currently, my art, design, and photography work can be
found for sale on Zazzle. I am exploring SpoonFlower, Society 6, and RedBubble.
I also market my work – with pins on Pinterest, posts to Instagram, and Nancy
Worrell designs FaceBook page.
I live in the mostly sunny South with my big yellow pound puppy, Tucker, and Cricket, my Indian cat. Besides art and design work, I enjoy traveling, gardening, reading, or just hanging out in the backyard.
Thanks for coming by. I’m
not sure where this journey is going – but you’re welcome to follow along. It’s
probably going to be a potpourri of art, design, and travel sprinkled with
morning walks and daily life. And, of course, the real purpose – to promote my
art and design work!
